The top loading plate is located within the slide shoe of the machine jack and in front of the handle. The handle of this machine jack can be removed to provide the max exposure to the top loading plate. Cylinder jacks are another type of machine jack. They are used for lifting large loads in tight spaces. The cylinder jack does not have a large footprint and its toes are very low to the surface. Unlike the compact jack, the cylinder jack does not have a handle.
